Q: When does Four Seasons at Raystown Lake Camping Resort open and close for the 2013 season?
A: We open on April 26, 2013 and close on December 1, 2013 for daily and seasonal camping.

Q: Does Four Seasons at Raystown Lake Resort have seasonal camp sites for rent?
A: Yes. Please refer to our Seasonal Page.

Q: Do you have parking for my boat?
A: Yes. We have free dry boat parking for one boat per camping site. Additional dry boat parking spots are $50.00 for the camping season.

Q: When do I have to pay for my reservation and / or security deposit?
A. Full payment for your camping stay is required at the time the reservation is made. You may use our online reservation system for the quickest way to guarantee a reservation. If applicable, all security deposits and COD's for extras will be collected at check-in. Please bring a $10.00 cash deposit for the gate key.

Q: Do you have a cancellation policy for the campsites?
A: Yes, the cancellation policy is as follows:

  • If notice is received more than 14 days prior to arrival: Full Refund less $32.00 administrative fee.
  • 14-8 days: Rain Check minus $32.00 administrative fee. Credit expires at end of current camping season.
  • 7-0 days: No refunds or credits.
  • Holiday Cancellations: No refunds or credits.

Q: Do you have a cancellation policy for the cabins, park model homes and RV-on-site?
A: Yes, the cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellations received more than 30 days prior to arrival receive full refund less $32.00 administrative fee.
  • Cancellations received ess than 30 days prior to arrival: No refunds or credits issue.
  • Holiday Cancellations: No refunds or credits issued.

Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
A: Campsites 12:00pm (noon) check-in
11:00am check-out
Cottages / Cabins 3:00pm check-in
11:00am check-out

Q: Are there any additional charges for extra people or pets?
A: Each campsite is entitld to 2 adults and 4 children or 1 adult and 5 children. Extra adults will be charged an additonal fee. The Cabin or RV-On-Site is entitled to 2 occupants (0-100 years old) and extra occupants are charged an additional fee. Pets in the cabin will incur a $20.00 fee per night for up to 2 pets. Additional fee for 3rd pet and must be approved by Campground Manager. A tent cannot be set up on any campsite.

Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: Family pets are welcome in the campground as long as they are monitored, cleaned up after and kept on a 6' or shorter leash. Pets cannot be tied or kenneled outdoors or left in vehicles or boats. The management has the right to ask you to remove your pet if it becomes a nuisance. Rabies certificates must be presented at check-in. You may bring two family pets to your campsite for free. There is a fee for the 3rd pet. All cabins have a daily fee for your pet(s).

Q: How late can I check in?
A: You may check in up to 10pm or before quiet hours begin. If you are arriving later than expected, please call 817-477-1005 to let us know that you are going to be late. If you arrive after 10pm, you will need to park in the parking lot until the office opens.

Q: When can I make reservations for 2014 & 2015?
A: Keep checking our reservation system for future availability. Cabins fill up quickly so reserve early.

Q: What type of hookups are available?
A: Water, electric (30/50 amp service), municipal sewer, Comcast cable and WiFi is offered by an independent supplier with a small fee. WiFi can be used at no charge in the camp store.

Q: How close are you to Raystown Lake?
A: If you drive five miles in either direction,you will be at the lake. Army Corp public boat ramps are available in either direction.

Q: How big is Raystown Lake?
A: Raystown Lake is a vacation destination area that touches a lot of small towns. The lake has 118 miles of shoreline and 8,300 acres of water. Raystown Lake is 30 miles long; is the largest lake in Pennsylvania and the largest manmade lake east of the Mississippi River.

Q: Do you have a store and what is in the store?
A: We have a small store with staples for the campers that stocks non-perishable prepackaged foods. We also have some paper products as well as ice, batteries, wood, t-shirts and sweatshirts. We sell greeting cards and stamps.

Q: Can we use our cell phones in the area?
A: The campground has limited cell service. There are hotspots in the campground that you may be able to use your cell phone in. The front of the campground building has an extender for Verizon. The campstore has a courtesy phone available for your use.

Q: Do you offer Wi-Fi?
A: Yes.

Q: Do you have a pool?
A: We have a wonderful swimming pool with 14 deck chairs and a pergola.

Q: What else do you have for activities?
A: We have a game room and outdoor games. We have DVDs and library books that you can check out. We also have a play structure for the children and a dog play yard for your pets. Bicycles may be ridden if you bring your helmet and safety gear.

Q: Can we bring our golf cart?
A: If you have a handicap pass for your vehicle, a golf cart can be used in the campground. The holder of the pass must be in the cart. A licensed driver must be driving the cart. No children or inexperienced drivers may drive the cart. If it is seen that the cart is not following the rules, it will not be allowed to be driven in the campground. In other words, we do not allow any horsing around on the carts.

Q: We are coming to your campground with our campers, can we pitch a tent beside the camper?
A: No, our campground regulations state that there is one camper or tent per site.
